Features
T39-1 is a mid mount platform with 95 feet of vertical reach, 88 feet of horizontal reach with a four section aluminum aerial ladder. The platform can accomodate up to 1300 lbs of firefighters and equipment. The master stream nozzle is 1250 gpm. The truck is equipped with a 2000 gpm Hale pump and a 300 gallon water tank. 800 feet of 5" hose is carried in the hose bed. The 8 man cab has 5 SCBA equipped seats with 3 additional SCBA's in a compartment on the truck. The truck has a 10' 10" travel height and can be set up in under 1 minute with its self stabilizing controls. The truck has 4 bottle jacks and only one set of underslung stabilizers that extend out to a total width of 15' 6", however, the unit can be short jacked.
Description T39-1 is the first aerial platform that the City of Mechanicville has ever owned. This unit is located at the Central Fire Station.

Description ETA 44-1 was purchased and run under the supervision of the W.L. Howland Chemical Engine Company #5. Since the closure of the Howland's station, it had been moved to the Depot Square Station (MFD Station #2) and run under the joint supervision of the Howlands and the Strangs. Since the dissolution of the 5 companies, this truck has been moved to the Central Station.

Description E 43-1 was run under the supervision of the W.B. Neilson Hose Company #4. It was taken off of the front line and placed as a reserve pumper upon arrival of ETA 42-1. It has since been retired and donated to a charity organization that outfits struggling fire companies around the world with needed equipment.

Description This boat was previously owned by the United States Air Force and used as a police patrol. It was purchased at a government auction and recovered from Florida. This unit is located at the Central Station.

Description This boat was donated to the MFD from the Round Lake Fire Department. Their donation is much appreciated and it is hopeful that in the future, the MFD will be able to once again offer water rescue service to the City of Mechanicville.
