Single Stream Recycling Program

The SINGLE STREAM recycling program is now in effect for the city. 

NO MORE SORTING!  All recyclables in one cart.  You can now mix your paper products and commingle containers and place them all in this new recycling cart for weekly pick up.

County Waste has distributed carts to residences along with an info packet explaining what items can be recycled. 

THURSDAYS will remain as the pickup day for recyclables.

Call County Waste 877-7007 with questions regarding the recycling program.

The City of Mechanicville Highway Department also accepts scrap metal, including appliances, at the city garage.
